By the third week of December, every boat out to the reef is spoken for and Mambo is full at seven. Come six weeks earlier and none of that is true. The rains have let go of the island, the water is clearing, and lobster season runs until February. Adults-only, thirty-five minutes up the coast from San Pedro.
